warehouse fire in san jose may have been deliberately set. the fire broke out in the willow glen neighborhood. a neighbor first reported the fair at the western roofing supply building near lincoln avenue. >> there were no injuries. there were no residents inside at the time. it was an unoccupied building and no firefighters were injured. >> the fire spread from a shed to the main building. officer-involved shootings on march 2nd in san francisco, san jose, and union city, and one occurred the next day, involving hayward police. >> right through a few dozen people are without power no san francisco. a small explosion took out a pg&e line this morning. nearly 3700 people were without power. it's been mostly restored. pg&e says there are 76 people remain without power at this time. shopkeepers said it slowed down the usually brisk saturday business. >> like a bomb, and then the light went off. usually we have a lot of people come by, buy eggs, break fast, and then we serve coffee until the coffee is gone. >> pg&e is still not sure what caused the outage. the downed line forced muni to switch to gas-powerrerred buss in the area. >>> they were cleaning up today in oakland after poeters vandalized five banks on franklin avenue last night, and also shattered a large window at the tribune tower. the damage was caused during what organizers called a march against capitalism and police resuppression. -- repression. police say no one was arrested and there were no injuries. >> family

in san francisco. 65 in san jose. the winds have been gusty this afternoon in the coast sal hill tops and stronger sea breeze tomorrow will likely drop our temperatures a little bit for tomorrow. we'll see clouds at times, dry finish to the weekend, temperatures cooling as we get into the start of the workweek and starting tuesday into wednesday, much needed rain comes back that will knock back the pollen in the air and toss more snow towards the sierra. now we've got high clouds approaching for sunset. can you see off to the north, storm trek is still to north to impact the bay area. we're watching a system north of hawaii that tapped into a jet stream. you can see on the water vapor loop, drawn into the system and it looks like it's going to track to the north of the bay area. the heaviest rain of the system likely going to fall in the north bay as we get into tuesday night and wednesday. hour by hour as you wrap up the weekend, you'll see high clouds at times and maybe patches of low clouds on the coast. a mixed bag of clouds. we're looking at mostly cloudy skies by monday eve

became a consul ant i was with city of san jose antigraffiti for 10 year. we ended up with over 3,400 graffiti volunteers. that's a big number. and the number of -- first of all, we did a good job training them and we made sure that if there were -- that they knew if there was anything out there, somebody watching them or a gang area, a gang tag, we didn't want them dealing with that. they he should call it into our staff and we'll take care of it for them. we had absolutely zero in 10 years issues with liability, none, not one. not only that's correct but we put every volunteer on our city's workers' compensation program, every single one. so, if there was a problem they were covered under the city's workers' comp program. and we had zero claims. and then we also inherited an antilitter program. we had over 14,000 antilitter volunteers. they weren't using the chemicals or anything like that, but we had same thing, no problems, no complaints, no liability issues at all. and we only gave solvent to adults. we didn't give solvents to any minors. and we made sure that the solvents

the book here but san jose is 10, odalys. anyway take the 10 biggest cities and add up their entire population of all the people in all of those cities, that's 23 million people. that is how severe the unemployment crisis is. and again there is no precedent since we got out of the great depression. so, another statistic. we had this thing we now call the great recession and the have followed the wall street crash that was caused by excessive speculation on wall street. now according to the official marketers of when recessions and, the recession started in the last three months of 2007 and it officially ended by june of 2009. that's three and a half years ago and we have been out of a recession for three and a half years, officially. now, one thing i recently calculated is, let's look at this recession relative to all the other recessions that have taken place since the great depression. now, and all the other recessions, there are different experiences that the economy does bounce back. when you say the recession and, it actually really ends. you can see that in the statistics and
